Healthy Breakfast Idea – Chia Seed Pudding with Organic Hemp & Turmeric

Oh, how I just love starting my day with a healthy and delicious – not to mention quick and easy.

Those of you that have been following my blog know that I place a lot of emphasis on healthy routines- particularly in the morning.

I frequently start my day with a bowl oatmeal – but there are days when I need a switch up from the regular.

Introduce my Organic Hemp & Tumeric Chia Seed Pudding!

Chia seeds are a superfood that is high in body nourishing nutrients, fiber, and essential fatty acids. Known for a wide variety of health benefits, chia seeds are beneficial for anti-aging, skin, digestion, and overall bone, muscle, and heart health.

Starting my day off right with all of this = starting the day with my best foot forward.

The recipe is SO simple-

All you need is:

2 tbsp organic chia seeds

1 cup almond milk (cashew and coconut milk work well too!)

Dash turmeric

Dash nutmeg

1-2 scoops Organic hemp protein powder ( I use Manitoba harvest hemp pro-fiber)

Chopped dates (optional)


Put all of the goodness into a jam jar then the night before (make sure to give it a good stir and another stir an hour later).


Wake up and BOOM!

A healthy and easy breakfast.

HOT TIP: You can add a scoop of this to your oats to bulk it up and get the additional nutrients.


You can add berries and also I added a caramelized banana and a bit of organic crunchy peanut butter! YUM!
