So I haven’t blogged in awhile.
I really just haven’t felt inspired lately.
Instead of rewriting thoughts and points that I have mentioned in past content, I have decided to just be okay with not posting as often.
Also, I have been busy with a couple of New Development Projects (Real Estate) and this has been keeping me pretty busy…
This is a great segway into my topic of the day: Being A Multipassionate Human.
Okay, so now I am inspired. So now I will write.
Being a person who has a multitude of interests, it can sometimes be challenging to focus on ONE thing- because you are spread out among a variety of things, or in my case- two somewhat interrelated things: Real Estate Development & Self Development.
Both go hand in hand- yet many aspects of having a business in both create some challenges with staying on top of both at the same time.
Additionally- within the scope of self-development I am a hypnotherapist…
A hypnotist and a Realtor?!
“At once!?” – let me just insert right here that no, I do not hypnotize people into buying real estate. I do therapeutic hypnosis for the purpose of self-growth, actualization and healing.
I have been asked a few times about how I can be doing both- as if there is something wrong with pursuing both at once…
“You need to focus and master one thing at a time to be successful,” they say.
Yes, I get it.
Putting laser focus and attention towards something will have an impact on the results achieved.
I Have Never Been One to Stick With Mainstream Philosophy.
Nor do I always need to give a shit about “results achieved” in every area of my life.
Lately, I have become more inclined to understand the concept of thinking it is nice to do things just for the enjoyment of doing them. Period.
My point here is that if YOU are a multi-passionate being as well, it may feel as though you are giving up a part of yourself by not following different aspects or interests so…
Stop listening to people who say you “should” only focus on one thing at a time. It is totally okay to focus on both.
Life is to short to not follow your true passions to see where they will go- even if it is a handful of passions at a time.
Given, this reality is surely not for everyone and I get that.
I see certain humans who really would do better focusing solely on one thing at a time in order to achieve a reasonable outcome.
But certain minds perform better with variety.
And I know that several of you out there are probably similar to me- but might have been conditioned to think otherwise.
At some point, one thing may take over another- or perhaps you may discover and uncover a merge between the two, creating something awesome and new!
As my journey continues, I will keep you posted.
As for now, if those of you are missing me- you know where I am at.
Drop me a line and let me know what you think of my being a Hypnotist Realtor!!
