I don’t know how you are feeling but I am just S I don’t know how you are feeling but I am just SUPER sensitive lately, it is hard to watch the news or be on social media and hear about violence of any sort -especially to children/elderly. There has been awareness to Asian hate crimes due to COVID-19 and it brings up so many emotions. Anger. Sadness.... and even watching trying to get away from it all by going on Netflix there are many movies (rated PG might I add) that have so much violence... 
With people staying inside more there are reported increases of domestic violence and abuse against children.

How do you feel about all this?! 
What comes up for you when you are exposed to this violence? 
Are you super sensitive to this too and how are you dealing with the emotions of it all? 
And what can we do!?
The first step I think, is to start the conversation...
Beauty day today in #kelowna! It feels nice to get Beauty day today in #kelowna! It feels nice to get out, get some fresh air and be by the water. Have had a bit of anxiety lately so it helps a lot to get out. I also want to shed some honesty on the fact that I still have my struggles some days. I shed more light in “Fearless” coming out March 8th link in bio!

 And can I just say-geeze is my daughter getting heavy lol! A typical photo of me “struggling” to hold her to take a pic...
But let’s keep it real, life doesn’t need to be perfect all the time- and it’s totally okay!!

What is something that you do to manage days that you don’t feel 💯?!

I feel super lucky to be a Mom. It wasn’t something that I knew would happen. 
But here I am- mid thirties and embracing the gift of motherhood.
It isn’t always easy but I look forward to be able to guide and support her into being the best version of herself. 
This includes modelling proper behaviour of my own. 
I’ve noticed an increase in phone screen time, especially these past few months when I have been more active on Instagram. 
Luckily I have caught myself and have started to limit my screen time so that I can be more present- these are the years we will never get back. I don’t want to spend too much of them looking at my phone.

My explant journey has begun... after 13 years of My explant journey has begun... after 13 years of breast implants I want these things OUT. I never speak about having implants but I have a new blog post coming out next week on why I am choosing to explant for good and possible health issues that I never realized could happen when I first got them. This is a journey that I am happy to share to help inform any other women going through the same thing, or even considering breast implants in the first place. Our intuition is a powerful gift - 
How often do you tap into it?

Here are 5 ways in which you can increase and tap into your powerful gift of knowing. 

1. Seek to ask questions and discover answers. 

So the first step towards connecting deeper with your intuition is to have the intent to connect deeper with your intuition- like anything, the focus which places emphasis on which you desire to create or do will help to bring into your awareness more of which we will be covering in the next points.

2. Dream Journal

One of my personal favourites- dreams can help you learn to connect with yourself in a deeper way, seek clarity and increase your intuition. 
The best way to start a dream journal is to set yourself up for success by having a journal next to your bedside - with a pen - and the first thing to do when you wake up in the morning is to write down everything you can remember. At first your dreams might not come to you but give it about a week and you will notice that you will train yourself to start remembering your dreams. 

3. Learn to Trust Yourself

You know that saying, "trust your gut"? Well it rings true- pay particular attention to any body sensations that come up for you in different situations and when meeting new people. Learn to take time to "check in" and assess- see how many “guesses” prove to be true.

4. Disconnect to Connect

Meditation, time in nature and time away from technology/social media/media/noise will help you to filter out what you are taking in versus what is your truth. Meditation and other mindfulness practices are also known to increase intuition. 

5. Write

Free writing, automatic writing, poetry- any form of writing can also be used as another form of intuitive guidance. The best way to do this type of writing is to clear your mind by using a form of meditation or mindfulness and just start writing without thinking too much about it. When you first start it could be scribbles, random thoughts, run on sentences. Don't worry about grammar or spelling just keep writing. Doing this consistently will start to provide you with information.
